If you were with us for last year's Franklin Luminaire Awards, a big Thank You!  Your participation, along with the hundreds of others who attended that evening, has brought the graphic communications career goals and aspirations of deserving Metro New York students within reach.  Reports from all fronts are in agreement - the premier networking event in the graphics communications industry was an unqualified success! An impressive slate of honorees received much deserved recognition for their efforts.

Mark your calendar for October 19, 2016.  Your Franklin Luminaire Awards committee has already been hard at work to make this year's event the best yet. Watch for news of this year's Luminaire Award recipients, as well as the coveted 2016 Franklin Award for Distinguished Service recipient. This year, there will be two awards, the recipients of which will be chosen from nominations submitted from the industry. Deadline for nominations for both awards is April 15, 2016.    

Innovation Excellence Award
In 2016 the Franklin Luminaire Awards inaugurates a new award of distinction – the Innovation Excellence Award.  The Innovation Excellence Award is granted to a company or individual in graphic communications that is pioneering, pacesetting, and advancing new technologies.  Each generation of our industry has developed or adopted new technology and we seek to recognize our innovators moving us into the future.  Click here for more information and to submit a nomination.

John Peter Zenger "Community Service" Medal
The John Peter Zenger "Community Service" Medal is awarded to an individual employed in the graphic communications industry who has exhibited exemplary character in the form of selfless courage, charity, activism, philanthropy or military service.  Click here for more information and to submit a nomination.
