"Are You Ready for the Employee Free Choice Act?" Webinars  The misnamed "Employee Free Choice Act" (EFCA) is expected to become law early in the next presidential administration.  The law will permit unions to organize your company without a secret ballot election.  In the PIA sponsored webinar, you will learn how the EFCA will change the process of union organizing in a way that makes it infinitely easier for unions to organize your company.  More importantly, learn how to prepare your company and employees for this change and defend from union interference into your workforce.   Register online by clicking on the desired date:  November 21st webinar or December 9th webinar.  Click here for complete program description.

Employee Free Choice Act "Talking Points" Printing Industries Alliance has developed "Talking Points" to assist PIA members in discussing the Employee Free Choice Act with friends, business associates or staff.  Contact PIA at (800) 777-4742 or (908) 276-4482 if you have any questions on this issue. A recent survey indicates that most voters agree that workers should continue to have the right to a federally supervised private ballot election.  Click here for a copy of these results.  Click here for details on six other bills on the labor agenda you should be aware of.
